Hotel Direct Bill
A Direct billing option has been established with three Hyatt properties in close vicinity to our downtown campus. These properties include the Hyatt Regency, the Hyatt French Quarter, and the Hyatt Place (Convention Ctr.)
If your department is interested in setting up a direct bill with one of these properties, please click on the link below for further instructions:
Please note-a valid LSUHSC Purchase Order number is required on the Direct Bill Authorization form to validate that the traveler is authorized the State per diem rate and is a legitimate charge to LSU Health. The PO number is also required so the Hyatt may invoice LSUHSC.
The individual lodging guest will be required to provide a credit card at check in for room service, restaurant, and/or bar and other incidental charges. If these services are not utilized, there should be no charges to the guest upon checkout.
LSU Health Hotel Booking Portal
Effective July 1, 2013 the Office of State Travel has awarded a statewide contract to Lexyl Travel Technologies, dba Hotel Planner. This contract can be utilized by all individuals and/or groups, which are traveling on official state business, to book hotels for in-state, out of state, and international hotels, through a customized web based portal. Hotel Planner has negotiated with hotels that have agreed to offer State of Louisiana travelers state allowable rates or lower. Travelers will have the ability to use this portal to book lodging accommodation with a personal credit card or the LaCarte Purchasing Card (if approved for travel).
Within this portal there are two sets of rates:
1. Rates in orange are State of Louisiana hotel rates that have been negotiated to meet PPM49 allowable guidelines.
2. Transient rates: are included to allow state travelers to take advantage of rates that may be lower than PPM49 guidelines.
**Note** These transient rates may also be higher than PPM 49 guidelines. It is important to note that transient rates may change several times a day, subject to the hotel availability. It is very important that traveler(s) review PPM49 and/or agency internal policies before making final reservation to ensure compliance.
