COI in Research Training
COI in Research training is completed in the Compliance and Training System (CATS) and is required every four years and immediately when any of the following circumstances apply: (i) LSUHSC-NO revises this Policy to substantially change the requirements of Investigators; or (ii) an Investigator is new to LSUHSC-NO; or (iii) an Investigator is in noncompliance with this Policy or with a COI management plan.
- COI in Research training is required for anyone who is involved in LSUHSC-NO research.
- If you have never completed the COI in Research training module, you must self-assign
the training module to complete it. Instructions to self-assign a research training
module can be found on the following document: Instructions
- Contact the IACUC, IBC, or IRB Office if you have any questions regarding your COI training requirement.
- Contact the Office of Compliance Programs if you run into any issues with the training system.
