Compensation
The Compensation Department administers the development, implementation, and maintenance of LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans Campus' compensation, classification and pay delivery program for all unclassified staff positions. This includes the development and adjustment for competitive salary ranges, the establishment and updating of job descriptions, and the classification of jobs and pay policies. Our objective is to attract, retain, and motivate individuals of caliber necessary to achieve the goals and objectives of LSU Health Sciences Center - New Orleans.

Position Descriptions are a critical component of our compensation philosophy and are used in determining the worth of a position within LSUHSC and externally.
