Employee/Labor Relations

The employee/labor relations section administers the Affirmative Action Program and insures EEO compliance; processes and resolves employee and applicant complaints subject to civil rights legislation; implements suspensions and terminations for classified employees; monitors and insures compliance with State and Federal laws and Civil Service Rules and Regulations; administers Workers Compensation and Unemployment Compensation programs; provides training in Equal Employment Opportunity/Affirmative Action, Sexual Harassment, Discipline, the Family Medical Leave Act, and the Americans with Disabilities Act; and administers the Comprehensive Public Training Program.

Performance Evaluations for Classified Employees

2014-2015 Performance Evaluations are due to HRM on August 10th

2015-2016 Planning Documents are due to HRM on September 8th

The performance year for classified employees begins July 1st. The 2014-2015 evaluation must be completed on the 2014-2015 PES form. The 2015-2016 planning should be completed on the new 2015-2016 PES form.
