Louisiana Transfer Degree

Purpose

The Louisiana Transfer Associate Degree was developed in 2009 to ensure that students who have completed the 60 hour Associate of Arts (AA/LT) or Associate of Science (AS/LT) can transfer all credits earned at any Louisiana community college to any four year university within the Louisiana State University System.

By completing specific elective courses within the AS/LT curriculum at a two-year institution, students may meet the admission requirements for undergraduate programs offered at LSU Health Sciences New Orleans. Admission to these programs is competitive, and earning an AS/LT degree does not guarantee admission.

Programs

Prerequisite course requirements for admission to the following undergraduate programs may be met by earning an AS/LT degree. The specific requirements vary by program. Interested applicants can click on the undergraduate program of their interest below for specific admission criteria.
