PeopleSoft Support

The PeopleSoft Support Training Team supports both the vertical and horizontal PeopleSoft end user community and organizations,  for LSU Health New Orleans, LSU Health Shreveport, LSU Healthcare Services Division and all hospitals and facilities associated to these entities that use PeopleSoft.  They also support all modules within the PeopleSoft Application for these organizations which includes Financials, Human Capital Management (HRMS) and Campus Solutions.

The responsibility of the PeopleSoft Training Team involves training End Users on the technical aspects of utilizing the PeopleSoft System.  This includes:

  • Development of new training materials and classes for when new features, functions or modules are implemented
  • Perform needs analysis, create and manage training project plans for upgrades
    Creation and delivery of new/revised application training in support of PeopleSoft application and tools upgrades
  • Providing Just In Time (JIT) training and one on one tutorage to end users as needed so they can quickly become functional in the application
  • Development and maintain a training website for asynchronous End User and Super User training
  • Creating and coordinating advance level training for Super Users with the PeopleSoft Support Team members for delivery as needed
  • Maintain records of training completions of end users for reporting purposes
  • Manages planning, acquisition, and delivery of Oracle training to Technical and Support PeopleSoft staff
