Libraries Closed 8/29/17

Both libraries will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday, August 29, 2017 because of threat of flooding from TS Harvey.

Library Hours

Both Libraries have returned to regular hours as of today, August 1st.  The hours for each library are:

Isché Library                                                                         Dental Library

Monday – Thursday: 8 am – 12 Midnight                        Monday – Thursday: 8 am -10 pm
Friday: 8 am – 8 pm                                                              Friday: 8 am – 5 pm
Saturday: 9:30 am – 6 pm                                                   Saturday: Closed
Sunday: 12 noon – 12 Midnight                                         Sunday: 11:30 – 8 pm

Independence Day Hours

The Isché Library will be open Summer Hours the weekend before the 4th of July, Saturday 9:30am – 6pm and Sunday 12noon to 10pm. On Monday, July 3rd, the downtown library will be open 8am – 6pm. And closed on the 4th. Summer Hours resume on July 5th and run through the end of the month.

The Dental Library will also be in Summer Hours and will be closed Saturday and Sunday. Dental will be open from 8am – 5pm on Monday July 3rd. And closed on the 4th. Summer Hours resume on the 5th and run through the 16th.

Dental Library summer hours

The Dental Library will be operating on a summer schedule from June 4 – July 15, 2017.

Our summer hours will be:

8:00-6:00 Monday – Thursday

8:00-5:00 Friday

Closed Saturday & Sunday.

We will resume normal hours on Sunday, July 16th: 11:30-8:00.

Summer Hours – Ische Library

The Isché Library will close at 10pm Sunday through Thursday and at 6pm on Fridays for June and July.

It will continue to be open 7 days a week and open at its normal times of 8am Monday through Friday, 9:30am on Saturday and 12noon on Sundays.

• Sunday 12noon-10pm

Easter Hours

Both Libraries will have shortened hours Thursday, April 13. Isché library will close at 8pm and the Dental Library will close at 5pm. The Libraries will remain closed through the weekend,  Friday, April 14 – Sunday April 16. Normal hours for both libraries will resume Monday, April 17.

Carnival Time Hours

The Libraries will have shortened hours surrounding Carnival.

• Friday, February 24th both the Dental and Isché Libraries close at 5 pm.
• Saturday, February 25th the Isché Library will be open regular hours from 9:30 am to 6 pm & the Dental Library will be closed.
• Sunday, February 26th the Dental Library will be open regular hours from 11:30 am to 8 pm & the Isché Library will be open 12 noon to 8:30 pm.
• Monday, February 27th both Libraries will be open 8 am to 5 pm.
• Tuesday, February 28th both Libraries will be closed for Mardi Gras.
• Wednesday, March 1st the Dental Library will be open 8 am to 5 pm. The Isché Library will be open regular hours 8 am to 12 midnight.
• Thursday, March 2nd the Dental Library will be open 8 am to 5 pm. The Isché Library will be open regular hours 8 am to 12 midnight.

Libraries Closed on MLK Jr Day

Both the Dental and Isché Libraries will be closed in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr Day on Monday, January 16th. The Libraries will be open their regular hours over the weekend.

Libraries are Open!

Happy 2017! Both the Dental and Isché Libraries have re-opened after Winter Break.

Both are back on their normal hours of operation.

Winter Break Hours

Both the Dental & Isché Libraries will begin Winter Break hours on Monday, December 19th. The Dental Library will be open from 8am to 5pm and the Isché Library will be open 8am to 6pm.

Both Libraries will closed from Friday, December 23rd through Monday, January 2nd. Both Libraries will reopen on Tuesday, January 3rd at 8am and resume normal hours.

Thanksgiving Hours

Both the Isché and Dental Libraries will be closed Thursday through Saturday, November 24th – 26th in celebration of the Thanksgiving holiday. Both Libraries will close early on Wednesday, November 23rd; the Dental Library will close at 5pm and the Isché Library will close at 6pm.

The Libraries will reopen on Sunday, November 27th at their normal times, 11:30am at Dental and 12 noon at Isché.

Labor Day Hours

The Libraries will be closed Sunday and Monday, September 4th and 5th for the Labor Day Holiday. The Isché Library will be open Saturday, September 3rd from 9:30 am – 6pm.

Both Libraries will be re-open at 8am on Tuesday, September 6th.

Independence Day Hours

Both the Dental and Isché Libraries will be closed Saturday – Monday, July 2-4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.  The Isché Library will close at 8pm on Friday, July 1st and the Dental Library will close at 5pm. Both Libraries will reopen on Tuesday, July 5th at 8am.

Both the Dental and Isché Libraries will close early on Thursday, March 24th and remain closed Friday, March 25th through Sunday, March 27th. The Dental Library will close at 5 pm and the Isché Library will close at 8 pm.

Both Libraries will reopen on Monday, March 28th at 8 am.
