2024 Wellness Credit
Each of the Medical Insurance plans offered through LSUHSC-NO offers enrollees the opportunity to receive a wellness credit, or discount off of your monthly premiums. in order to receive the wellness credit for the 2024 plan year, employees needed to follow the steps outlined by their insurance company.
Employees who met the qualifications for the 2024 Wellness Credit should see the monthly discount reflected on their December paycheck(s). As a reminder, there was a 6% increase for the medical insurance premiums, so the below rates are reflective of the 2024 monthly premiums with the Wellness Credit applied.
If you believe you met the qualifications, but do not see the discount applied, please follow the instructions below:
Contact WebTPA at 855-346-5781 no later than January 31st. Appeals submitted after January 31st will be denied, and you will be ineligible for the wellness credit in 2024. As a reminder, the discount is for $25 per month or $35 per month if a spouse is enrolled and approved. If an enrolled spouse did not meet the requirements of the wellness credit, no discount will be applied to monthly premiums.
This includes Magnolia Local, Magnolia Local Plus, Magnolia Open Access, Pelican HSA 775, and Pelican HRA 1000.
Contact the Office of Group Benefits at 800-272-8451 (Option 6). As a reminder, the discount is for $10 per month.
