Hours
Dental Library – Carnival Week Hours
During the week of Mardi Gras, the Dental Library will have abbreviated hours:
Sunday 2/10 ?á ?á ?áClosed
Monday 2/11 ?á ?á 8 am – 5 pm
Tuesday 2/12 ?á ?á Closed (Enjoy the parades!)
Wednesday – Friday 2/13-2/15 ?á ?á ?á8 am-5 pm.
Our regular hours will resume on Sunday 2/17

Ische Library – Carnival Weekend Hours
The Isch?® Library will be open regular hours (8 am to 6 pm) on Friday, February 8th. The Library will be open on Saturday and Sunday (February 9th and 10th) for abbreviated hours. Saturday the hours will be 9:30 am to 3 pm and on Sunday the hours will be 12 noon to 5:30 pm. On Lundi Gras, February 11th the?á?áIsch?® Library?áwill be open 8 am to 5 pm and will be closed on Mardi Gras, February 12th. Regular hours will resume on Wednesday, February 13th.
MLK Day Closure
Both the Isch?® and Dental Libraries will be closed on Monday, January 21st in observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr holiday.?á Both Libraries will be open regular hours on Sunday, January 20th (Dental 11:30-8 andIsch?® 1:30-10) and will reopen at 8 am on Tuesday, January 22nd.

Libraries Closed for Winter Break
The Isch?® and Dental Libraries are now closed for Winter Break, in accordance with the official University Holiday Schedule.
The Libraries will re-open on Wednesday, January 2nd at 8 am.
Winter Break Hours
The LSUHSC Libraries will be open regular hours (Isch?® or Dental) until Thursday, December 20th. The Winter Break hours are as follows:

Thanksgiving Hours
Happy Thanksgiving!
The Libraries (both Dental & Isch?®) will close early on Wednesday, November 21st. Dental will close at 5 pm and?á?áIsch?® will close at 6 pm.?á The Libraries will remain closed Thursday, November 22nd throught Saturday, November 24th.?á Both will re-0pen on Sunday, November 25th at their normal times, Dental at?á11:30 am?áand?áIsch?® at 1:30 pm.
Ische Library Closed on Saturday (10/13)
The Isché Library will be closed on Saturday, October 13th due to a scheduled Entergy outage. The Library will reopen on Sunday, October 14th at 1:30 pm.
The Library Commons will most likely be unavailable during the outage which is scheduled from 7 am until approximately 3 pm on Saturday.
Isaac Aftermath / Labor Day Hours
The Isché Library will be open limited hours (9 am – 5 pm) on Friday, August 31st and Saturday, September 1st and from 11:30 am to 8 pm on Sunday, September 2nd in the aftermath of Hurricane Isaac. The Library will be closed Monday, September 3rd in observance of Labor Day.
The Dental Library remains closed until Tuesday, September 4th at 8 am.
Independence Day Hours

The Isch?® and Dental Libraries will be closed on Wednesday, July 4th in honor of Indepence Day. Additionally the Isch?® Library will close at 8 pm on Tuesday, July 3rd instead of 10 pm. The Dental Library will be open until 8 pm as usual on Tuesday.
Both Libraries will re-open on Thursday, July 5th at 8 am.
Memorial Day – Closure

?áThe Libraries are closed today in observance of Memorial Day. Both will reopen on Tuesday, May 29th at 8 am.
Memorial Day Hours
Both the Dental & Isché Libraries will be closed on Memorial Day, Monday, May 28th. The Isché Library will be open regular hours (9:30 am to 6 pm) on Saturday, May 26th and from 12 noon to 8:30 pm on Sunday, May 27th. The Dental Library will be closed as usual on Saturday and will be open from 11:30 am to 8 pm on Sunday, May 26th.
