Ische Library Open

The Isché Library has returned to its regular hours as of today.

Dental Library Open

The Dental Library is open after Winter Break and is back to normal hours; stop by and tell Joe what you did with your holiday!

Both Libraries Closed for Winter Break

Both the Isché & Dental Libraries are now closed for the Winter Break holidays. The Dental Library will reopen on Sunday, January 3rd and will be open from 1:30 to 10 pm; the Isché Library will reopen on Monday, January 4th and will be open regular hours of 8 am to 12 midnight.

Winter Break Hours @ Dental Library

The Dental Library will be open for regular hours until Tuesday, Dec. 22nd when it will close at 5 pm. Hours for Wednesday, Dec. 23rd will be 8 am until 5 pm. The Dental Library will be closed from Thursday, Dec. 24th until Saturday, Jan. 2nd. The Library will reopen at 1:30 pm on Sunday, Jan.3rd.

Winter Break Hours @ Ische Library

The Isché Library will begin it’s special hours on Sunday, December 20th. The Library will be open for an abbreviated schedule through December 23rd. And will be closed from December 24th through January 3rd.
Abbreviated schedule is as follows:

The Dental Library closed at 5 p.m. today (Wednesday, Nov. 25th) and the Isché Library closed at 8 p.m. for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Both libraries will reopen on Sunday. The Isché Library will open at 12 noon and the Dental Library will open at 1:30 p.m. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving.

The library has resumed it’s regular hours.

Library Commons in the News

The Times Picayune featured a story on the new Library Commons yesterday. The photos looks great!

Ische Computer Lab Closed on 11/11

The Isché Library Computer Lab will be unavailable for general use on Wednesday, November 11th from 8 am to 5 pm. The computers outside of the lab will be available; please check out a key from the circulation desk to use them.

Closing @ 10:30 pm Wed & Thurs

The Isché Library will close at 10:30 pm on Wednesday & Thursday (Nov. 4th & 5th). The Library Commons will also be closed during this time period (from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am). Additionally, the Library Commons will be closed on Friday, Nov. 6th from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am Saturday, Nov. 7th. The closure is to accomodate overnight facilities work.

SAS on Board

SAS is now available on the three PCs in the Library Commons area. This resource is being supplied by the LSUHSC School of Public Health but any LSUHSC user may be access it.

Halloween

Just a friendly reminder that the Libraries will be open this weekend. The Isché Library will be open from 9:30-6 on Saturday & from 12-12 on Sunday. The Dental Library is open from 1:30-10 on Sunday.

Ische Computer Lab Closed Tonight

The Isché Library Computer Lab will be closed tonight (starting at 5 p.m.) so that outside contractors can clean the ducts for the HV/AC system. Computers outside the lab will still be available.

Intro to Consumer Health Information class @ Dental

The dental library will be presenting a class, Introduction to Consumer Health Information, tomorrow as part of our celebration of National Medical Libraries Month.
